Ever since we created Lost in Paradise we have wanted to collaborate with other artists or brands. And we are so happy to announce our collab with ACME. We met and have had a relationship with Angel Reyna from ACME back in 2021 when we had just started our brand. As entrepreneurs and small business owners we have been supportive of each other's endeavors. So creating something together was something we had talked about many times.
The first step was to coming up with the design idea. Like what type of leather to use, the color of the leather, the style of wallet, its shape and functions. And lastly we needed to decided on what Lost in Paradise logo to use.
We chose to go with one of our newest logo the “Lost in Paradise Vintage” design. It’s new, it’s fresh. It’s simple and minimalistic so it would look perfect on the wallet we decided to create. We went with a very classic style formation.
But before starting production we need to know what colors we would use. There were a couple different options and we couldn’t settle on just one. So we chose two colors/ types of leather. We used Italian Vegetable Tanned and Italian Oil Tanned. Now we were good to go.
Other details were deciding what liner to use for the construction of the wallets. We went with a very durable pigskin leather liner.
Moving on to the inside of the wallet design we followed the classic design we originally chose. Big pocket in the middle for dollar bills, and 3 slots on each side for cards. Now we wanted to make these even more special, so we added the Lost in Paradise name on the inside right panel. All the logo details were laser engraved.
The process was quite quick. Lasting about a week to make 20 wallets. The end result of these was just amazing. So much better than what I ever thought they could be. The subtlety, the warmth, the textures, the simple pop of the laser engraving for both logos inside and out. And of course the classic styling making it a forever piece. To be worn/ used by the everyday person.
