We’re so excited to be doing our 5th drop, and for it to be a summer collection!
Original Design
What started it all. This simple drawing was done back in early 2022. Originally created by Kenneth Castro (creative director and owner of Lost in Paradise) and intended for a different brand. It was turned down but keeper for future Lost in Paradise merch.
Bringing it to Life
It’s been a year since the creation of this design and finally it was the right time to bring it out! For this design we just had to wait for it to be summer for it to make sense. We hadn’t done a blue shirt since we launched the brand in 2021 so we wanted to bring that color back. So we went with a monochrome look. A light stonewash blue with a bit of a darker blue for the graphic.
Giving a Design a Home
The Sun and Wave design has been used since summer of last year when we came out with our beach bucket hats, our 3 pack stickers, and the limited edition dad hats. When we created this design it was always meant to be on a shirt as well. But finding the right shirt style and colors took longer then we thought. Even though we feel it happed for a reason and we’re super happy with this final result.
Styling it with other LIP Merch
This is the first red shirt we put out. And also the first tan tops we make. This year has been mostly about expanding our catalog when it comes to clothing items, styles, and colors. And making this red tank was a great idea. Especially when you style it with our LIP Classic dad hat.
